Abstract
Emergencies can happen at any time, and the first few minutes are often very important. During situations such as road accidents, medical emergencies, fires, or other dangerous incidents, people may not have enough time to explain their situation or provide their exact location. At the same time, responders may not receive complete information quickly enough to take action.
To address this problem, Guardian – Smart Emergency Intelligence System is proposed as a centralized platform that connects citizens, emergency responders, and administrators. The system allows a citizen to select the type of emergency and send an SOS request along with important information such as location and contact details. The request is then processed by the backend and shared with suitable nearby responders through real-time notifications.
Responders can view the emergency details, accept the request, navigate to the location, and update the progress of the response. Administrators can monitor active emergencies, responders, and the overall status of incidents from a centralized dashboard.
The main purpose of Guardian is to make emergency communication more organized, faster, and easier to manage. The proposed system also provides a base for future technologies such as artificial intelligence, automatic accident detection, wearable-device integration, predictive analytics, and offline emergency communication.
