Abstract

HerCare is a proposed women’s health and menstrual-cycle tracking system designed to help users maintain organized records of period dates, symptoms, reminders, and related health information in one digital platform. Existing informal methods can scatter information across calendars, notes, and memory, making it difficult to review patterns over time. HerCare combines user registration and authentication, profile management, period tracking, symptom logging, reminders, a dashboard, historical summaries, and general health education content. The proposed architecture separates the presentation, application logic, database, analytics, and content components to support maintainability and future extension. The system is intended for personal record keeping and awareness, not for medical diagnosis or treatment. Cycle-related calculations are based on user-entered information and should be presented as estimates rather than medical certainty. The expected outcome is a responsive web-based prototype that demonstrates structured data entry, secure access to personal records, historical review, reminders, and educational support.
